Build a career, not a side gig.
ASP hires armed and unarmed security professionals across Maryland. We train past the state minimum, supervise on-site, and pay people like the work matters, because it does.
Three reasons the good ones stay.
There are more security firms in Maryland than there are good officers. What separates them isn't pay alone, though that matters. It's how the company treats the work and the people doing it.
Training that's paid time
40+ hour internal curriculum before deployment. Quarterly refreshers, every year you wear the uniform. Use-of-force, de-escalation, emergency response, legal limits. All paid time, not your own.
Real on-site supervision
Field supervisors run post inspections, surprise audits, and welfare checks during your shift. You're not abandoned on a post wondering if anyone has your back. If something happens, there's a real person on the radio.
Pay and promotion that reflects it
Armed pays more. Nights pay more. Overtime is paid, not absorbed. Site supervisors come from inside; field sergeants come from inside. The path from new hire to leadership is documented and available.
The short version of a serious application.
About 10 minutes. We trimmed the redundant questions, so what's left is what we actually need to make a decision. Required fields are marked.
